Basically, you send in a photo of your pet (or whichever animal). Erin creates a sketch for you to follow. You will receive some supplies, available for pickup, and you'll be given instruction via an online video call. Erin will set it up so you can see everything and will coach you through your struggles.
Erin has taught hundreds of people to paint, and even though online classes aren't ideal, they are still a valid and helpful way to learn to paint!
Min 1, (otherwise I'd be talking to myself, which is already too common these days)
Max 4
At least three hours, sometimes closer to four. It depends on how fast the pace is of the group. Some groups are quick and some are slow.
We will be using:
11 x 14 canvas - will have the image of your pet sketched out ahead of time and numbered to make it easy to reproduce the image of your pet!
Check out the gallery! You can see examples from REAL people who are not artists.
Get low - get on the floor or ground on your pet's level
Portrait shots are the easiest
Use treats your pet to sit still and look at you
Get good light - Take your photo during the day or outside
Be Patient
You can paint a picture of a tiger for all I care. I've had someone paint a yak, that was cute!
Yes. As with ALL painting parties. There is always a chance of you getting paint on yourself and your belongings. Wear clothes that you can get paint on.
Tickets are non-refundable.
For booking, please contact Erin and she will get back to you as soon as possible.
