Eg. January, Kîsipîsim - The Great Moon. (kee-sih-pee-sim). The first full moon of the year is known as The Great Moon in Michif.
Michif is the traditional language of the Métis People, and Northern Michif is the language spoken by Erin's maternal grandparents.
The calendar features the holidays as well as the full and new moons.
