A muddy wave crashes on the beach on Stuart Lake. It's hard to describe how much I love this lake. When I touch this water, it feels different than other water. It feels familiar. Just touching it feels like home.
I grew up on this lake and it's always felt like a refuge. Stuart Lake is a huge lake, over 60km long and very deep. It can be tempestuous and cold. Today, the waves were crashing and the heat was baking. Nothing could've felt better than the cool waters of the lake crashing over us.
