Commission Process

Please note: not every commission request will be accepted.  I accept a small number of commissions every year. Every commission requires a different amount of time. 

Step 1 - Deposit 

During this step, the details, timeline and price are agreed upon. A rough sketch may be provided. You will be able to input requests for edits. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at this time. 

Step 2 - Creation

If the project requires, there may be a round or two of edits. You may choose to see the process. 

Step 3 - Finishing 

 Upon completion, finishing steps will be taken. If it is a physical painting this may include scanning, varnishing and wiring. If it is a digital piece, additional file types, clean up etc. may be necessary. 

How long will my commission take?

Contact us to see when I'm currently booking commissions. I book them in 'months' to make it a bit easier. 

Patience is always important with every commission. Important deadlines will be met. If there are crucial deadlines, it is important to communicate that at the beginning of the process. If no deadline is provided, then patience is important. Trust that rushing the process does not elicit a better result.

• many other sizes are available - these are the most commonly inquired prices.
