Mist rises off of the glacial waters as the sun rises on the great face of Mount Robson. Mount Robson, known as Yexyexéscen (Yu-hai-has-kun) or the Striped Mountain by the Secwepemc. It is the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies and one of the most stunning in the entire range.
I feel the energy of Robson in my chest. It has such a power and a presence that has been standing over the people for tens of thousands of years. It is the awe and magic of the mountain that I endeavored to capture.
