When you walk among giants you realize your own insignificance and there is something comforting in that.
This is based on a photo taken by Erin from the Ancient Forest (Chun T’oh Whudujut), the world’s only known inland temperate rainforest. The trees in the newly minted Provincial Park are over 250 years old, with many being over 1000 years old. The forest was slated to be logged, but concerned citizens attracted attention and in 2016 the park was saved forever by achieving status as a Provincial Park.
